SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it truly is alarmed concerning the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The assistance place designed for intervention experiences a high inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for that office to attend status sassa to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all clients and increase use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
